1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use Imagine Me Independent Living Referral Network, create an account, purchase a membership, submit or manage a provider listing, save resources, communicate with us, or participate in the referral program.
It does not control the privacy practices of housing providers, home-care agencies, government sources, payment processors, or other third parties linked from or listed in the Network.
2. Information we may collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, account credentials, organization name, and communication preferences.
- Provider and listing information: business identity, locations, services, populations served, licensing disclosures, photos, availability, contact details, and supporting documents submitted for review.
- Membership and transaction information: selected plan, billing status, renewal date, credits, discounts, and limited transaction details. Full payment-card information is handled by the payment processor and is not intended to be stored by Imagine Me.
- Network activity: searches, saved resources, outreach notes, listing changes, reports, referral activity, and support requests.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, approximate location, cookies, log information, and activity used to operate, secure, and improve the Network.
3. How information may be used
- Provide accounts, memberships, directory tools, saved lists, outreach features, and customer support.
- Review, verify, approve, publish, update, or remove provider listings.
- Process payments, renewals, discounts, refunds, and referral credits through service providers.
- Send service notices, security messages, billing information, and communications you request or consent to receive.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our policies.
- Meet legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect the rights and safety of the Network and its users.
- Understand usage and improve the Network’s content, accessibility, and performance.
4. When information may be shared
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including with:
- Service providers that support hosting, account access, payments, email, security, analytics, and customer service under appropriate restrictions.
- The public and Network members when a provider submits information intended for an approved public or member-facing listing.
- Government, legal, or safety authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Network.
- A successor organization if the Network or related business assets are involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable law.
Imagine Me does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Provider listings and public information
Information submitted for a provider profile may become visible to members or the public after approval. Providers should submit business information intended for publication and should not include private resident, patient, employee, or client information in a listing.
Some directory records come from public sources. Organizations may contact us to request a correction or review of a record.
6. Email and text-message choices
Service-related email may be used to manage accounts, billing, security, listings, and requested support. Marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe where required.
If text messaging is offered, consent will be collected through separate, unchecked Yes and No choices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of receiving housing services.
7. Cookies and similar technology
The Network and its service providers may use cookies or similar technology for sign-in, preferences, security, performance, and basic analytics. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, but some account features may not work correctly without essential cookies.
8. Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including account administration, transactions, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect information. No website, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. You may also request to close an account, update communication choices, or ask how information was used. Some information may be retained when required for transactions, security, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.
Submit privacy requests to info@imaginemetransition.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority over a provider account before completing a request. Additional rights may apply based on where you live.
10. Children’s privacy
The Network is intended for adults and business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through member-account or provider-listing features.
11. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the Network adds features or as legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised, and additional notice will be provided when required for material changes.
